License, Frequently Asked Questions

  • I just want to license the A.I. ‘as-is.’ Can I do that?
  • What is a co-branded website?
  • Can I get an exclusive license for...
  • Can I put a link on my page to the 20Q.net game site?
  • Can I order a bunch of the handheld 20Q's with my company's logo on them?
  • I have a great idea for building the 20Q into <your product here> ... is that possible?
  • I just want to license the A.I. ‘as-is.’ Can I do that?

It's possible. Fill out our contact form outlining what you intend to do, and we'll consider your application. We will only respond to serious inquiries, so be sure to include some details in your message in order for us to evaluate any potential opportunities.

    What is a co-branded website?

Co-branding is when a third party website hosts the 20Q game within their own Web pages. This allows them to implement the game using Flash, Java, Javascript or any other suitable technology. The same mechanism allows other third parties such as wireless carriers or interactive television services to present the 20Q game to their users in their own format, look and feel.

Our own Mobile demo and handheld demo were created using this mechanism.

Co-branding is not cheap. If you wish to host a co-branded version of 20Q on your site, or through your wireless network or other interactive platform, get in touch using the contact form and we will contact you.

Can I get an exclusive license for...

We do not generally consider exclusivity in any form, but you can always ask. Fill out our contact form, and we will consider your request.

Please be sure to include enough details to properly evaluate your opportunity.

Can I put a link on my page to the 20Q.net game site?

We don't mind people linking to our site, but we would prefer that you link to our main site (http://www.20q.net) and not a sub-page. If you wish to provide a link that has an image, Please use this logo
    20Q.net
You may also "cut and paste" the following HTML:

Can I order a bunch of the handheld 20Q's with my company's logo on them?

You probably can if ‘a bunch’ would fill the better part of a boatload. In any case, you can always inquire using our contact form.

Even if the number of games you want is high enough to justify a special manufacturing run, bear in mind that it would probably take several months to get them made, assuming that you already have artwork prepared.

If you want to place a smaller order, and have your company’s logo put on them at your own expense by someone else, we don’t mind, as long as our trademarked logo remains visible. Obscuring or altering our logo would be considered fraud.

I have a great idea for building the 20Q into <your product here> ... is that possible?

Maybe. You may be able to build the 20Q game into a product if it is in a category in which we have not yet granted a license. The 20Q A.I. is adaptable, scalable, modular, and embeddable and can be used in any number of different categories and functionalities.

Contact us using our contact form, and we will put you in touch with the appropriate people to work out terms.

As with any business opportunity, please provide some details with your inquiry so that we can properly evaluate its potential, and don't forget to include your contact information.
